Haitian singer and producer JBeatz continues to enrich his musical journey with the release of his latest album titled “Enjoy Your Life” on April 4. Following the success of his previous album “10 Zan Pa 10 Jou” in 2022, JBeatz unveiled his new opus.

From his initial breakthrough, showcasing his beat-making prowess, to subsequent albums that propelled his career, JBeatz’s musical odyssey knows no bounds. A native of Arcahaie, he has consistently risen alongside the industry’s finest.

In this latest project JBeatz joined forces with established artists such as emerging rapper Kingstreet, Danola and Kanis. The album, freshly released, has already captivated numerous fans.

Centered around the theme of “love,” JBeatz’s new record not only showcases his diverse talents but also underscores his enduring presence in the music industry. His melodies resonate strongly within the Haitian diaspora, particularly in the United States and Canada, marking an undeniable success attributed to both his individual artistry and the collective efforts of his group DaBeatz.


Roumie, a new star in the HMI sky

A new talent has emerged in the world of Haitian music, and her name is Roumie At just 18 years old, she recently released her debut single “Too tard” in early March. The song tells the story of a girl who refuses to take back her former partner who realizes their mistake too late. 

The track has already gained popularity on various streaming platforms, and Roumie is proud of her beginnings in the Haitian Music Industry (HMI). Roumie’s music is characterized by the Afrobeat rhythm and carries a powerful message for those trying to rekindle a relationship after taking their partner for granted. The young Haitian star comes from Les Cayes, a city in the southern part of Haiti, and has been living in the United States for four years, where she is studying Performing Arts. Roumie is a promising talent to watch out for in the Haitian music scene.

Ralph Delly is an award-winning music and entertainment journalist with extensive experience covering the Haitian Music Industry and the Haitian-American community. He has worked in Haiti and the United States at such media organizations as Radio Metropole, WNWK/107.5 FM, Radio Soleil d’Haïti and The Haitian Time – where he penned the popular “The Delly Dish” gossip column. Dellys has worked with numerous artists in the HMI, including Zin, Lakol, Phantoms, Zenglen, Sokute, Jam, See Well and 509 – to name a few.
