PORT-AU-PRINCE— Prime Minister Ariel Henry vowed to stay in power until the organization of the elections in Haïti and urged calm following three days of protests across the country demanding his resignation.
“All the people who choose violence, breaking and destroying, killing people to take power are not working in the interest of the Haitians," Henry said in a public address on Feb.8. “I think the time has arrived to put our heads together.”
