Book Signing/Art Exhibition Event featuring the release of the highly anticipated book, Heroes of the Haitian Revolution. There will also be a display of The Haitian Heroes and Sheroes Art Exhibition which features original paintings of our revered ancestors by talented artist Kervin Andre. Hear stories of how Haiti became the first independent black nation in the Americas and the heroes who fought, bled, and made the ultimate sacrifice.

APAC’s program director and artist Stephane Desir (@kiskeyaart) makes his sophomore curatorial debut this year and we will be hosting an opening x closing art reception featuring all Haitian artists for Black History Month. We will have an in-depth conversation with a-I-r, a couple of live performances, music, food, and drink. We are excited for this addition to our community advocacy fold and hope that you all can join us!

A mix of professionals, business owners, educators and county leaders buzzed will be meet every second Saturday morning for the HAAMCC Enrichment Breakfast with several of the community partners to address economical, financial issues tied to social and health concerns.

The Prestigious Haitian Music Awards is a unique Haitian American award show that was established in 2016 by Prestigious Haitian Music Association partnering with the city of North Miami Beach (Office Commissioner Paule Villard) to celebrate Haitian Americans in music, acting, sports and other fields of entertainment over the past year. Here at the Prestigious Haitian Music Awards, the awards are presented annually.
