The Heroes book and art book tour

Celebrate the release of the new book Heroes of the Haitian Revolution by publisher Thorobred Books featuring author Frantz Derenoncourt, Jr. and illustrator Kervin Andre. There will also be a display of The Haitian Heroes and Sheroes Art Exhibition, which features original paintings of our revered ancestors by talented artist Kervin Andre. Hear stories of how Haiti became the first independent Black nation in the Americas and the heroes who fought, bled and made the ultimate sacrifice.
