Thorobred Books is excited to bring The Heroes Book and Art Tour to the Haitian American Museum of Chicago (HAMOC)
Join us as we celebrate the release of the new book Heroes of the Haitian Revolution by publisher Thorobred Books featuring author Frantz Derenoncourt, Jr. and illustrator Kervin Andre.
In honor of Women’s History Month, we will have a special showcase of The Haitian Sheroes Art Exhibition which features original paintings of our revered ancestors by talented artist Kervin Andre.
Hear stories of how Haiti became the first independent black nation in the Americas and the men and women who fought, bled, and made the ultimate sacrifice.
This will be the 3rd collaboration project by Frantz and Kervin who brought you Sheroes of the Haitian Revolution in 2019.
