Hundreds of Haitians made their way to the small village of Souvenance last week for an annual pilgrimage for Vodou practitioners. In the small town located between Gonaïves and Cap-Haïtien, Vodou followers dressed in white, took part in various rituals and expressed their devotion to the spirits.

PORT-AU-PRINCE, HAITI — Haiti’s iconic Iron Market in downtown Port-au-Prince, was engulfed in flames Tuesday. The fire spread through the tourist attraction destroying vendors’ merchandise. There has yet to be an official report on damage or fatalities.
