Paul Demesmin has been a promoter in the Haitian Music Industry (HMI) for more than a decade. The Florida-based impresario has organized events in South Florida and Haiti. He was the producer of Djakout #1’s “Lod na Dezod” CD a few years ago. Next week, Demesmin is organizing a huge event during the Rara Leogane weekend, featuring his cousin and Leogane native the legendary Carole Demesmin.

Jason Derulo Visits Haiti to Shoot Music Video
Haitian-American pop star Jason Joel Desrouleaux aka “Jason Derulo” touched down in Haiti on Saturday, March 17. The singer and songwriter was accompanied by his parents, and welcome to Cap Haitian by Jessy Meno, the minister of tourism. He’ll be shooting the official music video for his new song “Colors,” which he’ll be performing in Russia during the opening ceremony of the 2018 FIFA World Cup on June 14.
