Haitian-American pop star Jason Joel Desrouleaux aka “Jason Derulo” touched down in Haiti on Saturday, March 17. The singer and songwriter was accompanied by his parents, and welcome to Cap Haitian by Jessy Meno, the minister of tourism. He’ll be shooting the official music video for his new song “Colors,” which he’ll be performing in Russia during the opening ceremony of the 2018 FIFA World Cup on June 14.
Haiti made its presence known at the 7th Annual Orlando Caribbean Festival on Saturday, March 17. The music showcase was headlined by Haitian-American artist Wyclef Jean, and featured a line up that included Djakout #1, Harmonik and T-Vice. Other performers included Alison Hinds, Konshens, Tanto Metro & Devonte, and Jenn Morel.
