Ariel Henry, Felix Badio, Arrestaion

PORT-AU-PRINCE — Haiti’s Prime Minister Ariel Henry, upon his return from trips abroad, applauded the arrest of a key suspect – Joseph Felix Badio – in the case of the assassination of the former President Jovenel Moïse, with whom he spoke after the murder.

“I applaud the Haitian National Police after this good crackdown in arresting Félix Badio,” Prime Minister Henry said on his Facebook account on Oct. 24, after returning from his Canada-Caricom summit and a Mexico gathering on migration. “This is a big step that will help advance the investigation into the death of President Jovenel Moïse.”

Overview:

After being arrested and questioned, suspect Joseph Félix Badio was transferred to Haiti’s national penitentiary while waiting to appear before a court.
