PORT-AU-PRINCE— Haiti men's soccer team suffered a 3-1 defeat against Mexico on June 29 during their second game in the 17th edition of the Gold Cup 2023 competition at the State Farm Stadium in Arizona, U.S. 

The Haitian team started the match strongly, with the players making several attacking moves, including midfielder Donald Guerrier's attempt against the Mexican goalkeeper. However, in the second half, Mexican player Henry Martin scored the opening goal in the 46th minute, giving his team a 1-0 lead.
