PORT-AU-PRINCE—An armored Haiti National Police excavator was set on fire in Martissant on Monday, bringing to three the number of armored vehicles destroyed in less than a week as police continue the struggle to crack down on heavily-armed gangs.

Members of the "5 Segond" gang took responsibility for the burning and posted a video of the burning vehicle in flames.
