Dominican President Luis Abinader led calls from regional leaders urging the broader international community to “pacify” Haiti with force during the Ibero-American Summit held in his country last week.

“The only way to act with Haiti is to pacify Haiti. If you want to help Haiti, you have to go to pacify Haiti,” Abinader said. “It is not with other speeches.”
