PORT-AU-PRINCE — Haiti celebrated the International Day of La Francophonie on March 20 with a ceremony at the Karibe Hotel, marking the end of fifteen days of activities.

Prime Minister Ariel Henry who attended the celebration said that the Francophonie is of great importance for Haiti. This importance, he adds, has its roots in the historical ties that bind us with the French language and culture.
