Last week the gangs seemed to target health centers and doctors. This week, it looks like they are going after schools and the students who attend them. 

After a student was shot dead, two teachers wounded by gunshots, and at least three teachers kidnapped, many schools have closed their doors in Port-au-Prince on Monday until further notice, a teachers’ union announced.
