PORT-AU-PRINCE — Artists in Haiti are raising awareness about violence against women and girls as they  increasingly become targets of the political turmoil and gangs operating around the capital. 

Last month, painters and comedians teamed up in a multidisciplinary art collective under the theme "Deconstruct, Create" to share the stories of the violence against women and girls.
