PORT-AU-PRINCE — All Bahamians were ordered to leave Haiti last week after police stopped and searched the vehicle of the Bahamian country's top diplomat and seized his vehicle, culminating Friday with seven Bahamian diplomats leaving Haiti due to violence.

The Bahamian government made the announcement on its Twitter account after ordering all of its diplomatic staff to leave the country.
