BROOKLYN – Senegal NYC beat Haiti NYC, both local Brooklyn diaspora soccer teams, 5-2 in a match celebrated at the Old Boys High field in East Flatbush on July 31, 2022.

“It was a tough game, we lost,” said Yvener Guerrier, Haiti NYC head coach “We're going to continue working and improve what we’re supposed to improve. That’s the game, sometimes you lose, sometimes you win.”

Joseph Geraldy, #11, from New Jersey, scored the 1st goal for Haiti NYC, a minute after Senegal NYC opened the scorecard for the game in the first half. Haiti’s second goal came from # 9 Chrismonor Eugene.
