A series of memorial service events are being planned throughout the diaspora, to coincide with the Haiti state funeral service.

President Jovenel Moïse will be laid to rest July 23, at a state funeral service in the northern Haitian city of Cap-Haitien. 

While family, friends, state officials, leaders, journalists and others are expected to arrive in Haiti’s second-largest city to mourn the slain 58th president, diaspora leaders and Haitian consular officials in the U.S. have planned events to coincide with the funeral in Haiti.
