The Haitian Soccer Federation (FHF) still haven’t paid players bonuses promised to them for finishing third in the 2019 Gold Cup for the first time, according to Ayibopost.
“Between us players, we complain about this treatment,” said a star player who chose to remain anonymous. “Every time we check our bank accounts, we don’t see anything.”
CONCACAF, the soccer confederation for the Americas, had given Haiti’s federation USD $200,000 for the team’s performance in the Gold Cup.
The sum owed to each of the 23 players ranges from USD $3,200 to USD $4,000 dollars. The players have complained to the FHF’s normalization committee. Source
