Haitians college students in the Dominican Republic will receive special visas, Haiti’s Ambassador to the Dominican Republic announced via Twitter Monday.
Smith Augustin didn’t mention exactly when the students will receive the visas but said “soon.” Agustin didn’t specify what the special visas will enable the students to do either.
Smith added that he met with the Dominican Republic’s Vice-Minister of Consular and Migratory Affairs Jatzel Roman to finalize the process. Source
