FIFA announced Monday it banned Haiti’s under-20 women’s team supervisor for 10 years for not protecting the players from getting sexually abused.
FIFA also fined Nella Joseph 20,000 Swiss francs, or USD $22,000.
President Yves ‘Dadou’ Jean-Bart, only Haiti soccer, was barred for life in November for allegedly sexually assaulting several players, including minors, from the boarding training center in Croix-des-Bouquets, a town near Port-au-Prince.
Yvette Félix, a former coach, was also banned for five years amid the sexual scandal in April. Source
