A human rights organization counted at least 91 cases of kidnapping in April, which is a 300 percent increase from March.

The Center of Analysis and Research on Human Rights (CARDH) recorded 27 cases in March.

About 43 percent of April’s kidnapping cases happened in Port-au-Prince and 22 percent in Croix-des-Bouquets, a town near Port-au-Prince, according to CARDH. Source
