Judoka Gérard Cadet qualified for the Olympics after winning a bronze medal during a qualifying round in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic last weekend.

Three more judokas earned medals. Meli Jennifer Etienne won a silver and a bronze medal. Philippe Metellus and Sabiana Anestor each took home a bronze medal. But they haven’t earned enough points yet to qualify for the Olympics.

Haiti now needs three women and two men to qualify for the Olympics to be able to enter judo team events. Source
