Haitian midfielder Steeven Saba is returning to Haiti to play with Violette AC, after his contract abroad ended.
After his Gold Cup triumph with the Haitian selection in 2019, Saba joined the Montreal Impact club in the MLS. Soon after joining, however, the Haitian midfielder faced the pandemic and an injury that sidelined him. As a result, IMFC officials did not extend his contract.
Sunday, Saba will play his first game for VAC, the defending champion. He promises to be one of Jean-Jacques Pierre’s essentials on the national team. Source
