Honoring Haitian women, Haiti Cultural Exchange and the Brooklyn Botanic Garden hosted a live performance by Jonathan Michel (celebrating Haitian Women Composers) with special guest Talie Cerin on April 17, 2021.

The event was part of the Fanm d’Ayiti | Art in the Garden: Spring Weekends series. Future performances will include traditional Haitian folk songs & drumming featuring Mia, Okai & SeeYou, and Riva Precil featuring Monvelyno Alexis & Markus Schwartz performing a fusion of Haitian Rasin/Roots, Jazz, and African rhythms.
