Black Lives Matter activists and allies held a vigil at Washington Square Park in New York on April 14, 2021. They gathered in honor of Daunte Wright and Dominique Lucious.

Daunte Wright was a 20-year-old African American, killed by former Brooklyn Center Police Department officer Kimberly Potter on April 11, 2021 in Minnesota.

Dominique Lucious was a 26-year-old Black transgender woman killed by Charles Nelson, 28, in Springfield, MO on April 8, 2021.
