Cristiano Ronaldo scored for Juventus at the weekend after an injury to Robert Lewandowski gave him a glimmer of hope in the European Golden Shoe rankings.
Juventus struggled to a 2-2 derby draw against Torino on Saturday, though it was a late header from Ronaldo which allowed them to salvage a point.
The veteran forward had failed to score in the humbling defeat to Benevento prior to the International break but now has 24 Serie A goals this season and 48 points.
That puts him second in the standings for the most goals in Europe.
Leader Lewandowski did not play for Bayern against RB Leipzig after suffering a knee injury on International duty with Poland.
Initial reports suggested he would miss a month of action, though the relentless striker is now hoping to return inside a couple of weeks.
Lewandowski still sits in a commanding position in the standings with 35 league goals and 70 Golden Shoe points.
