Kylian Mbappe has suggested he could move away from Ligue 1 in order to avoid the “tiring” criticism he faces from the French media.

The Paris Saint-Germain superstar believes he he is treated differently to his teammates in Dider Deschamps’ squad who play for clubs overseas.

Mbappe’s comments are the latest indication he is not happy with his current situation and will pursue a move away from Parc des Princes this summer.

The 22-year-old forward has no shortage of suitors abroad, with La Liga giants Real Madrid and Premier League champions Liverpool long-term admirers.

Mbappe also claimed no progress has been made in extending his contract with PSG – which will expire in the summer of 2022 – during a frustrated interview after France’s 1-0 win over Bosnia and Herzegovina on Wednesday.

Mbappe admits he is “tired” of the criticism he faces in the French media (“Of course it gets tiring,” Mbappe told RTL of the regular scrutiny he receives from the French media.
