The Minister of Justice said instructions have been issued to the Haitian National Police (PNH) to disband Fantom 509, a group the government has labeled as a terrorist organization.
Rockfeller Vincent made the statement in a press release on Tuesday.
Fantom 509 members murdered a police officer earlier this week. PNH has issued wanted notices against six members of its force, three of whom are believed to Fantom 509 members, according to TripFoumi Enfo.
“The [police]’s mission is to find the source of criminal funding and, if necessary, the white-collar manipulators of these terrorists also, so that Justice can crackdown on them and allow the population to go about their business in peace,” Vincent said.

Belize soccer team wants new game location

The Belize soccer team contacted FIFA to request that their game against Haiti be relocated. The ask came after armed Fantom 509 members, a terrorist group, briefly stopped their team bus in Port-au-Prince on Monday.
Belize is scheduled to play Les Grenadiers on Thursday at 5:00 p.m. at Sylvio Cator Stadium in the World Cup qualifiers.
Glen Etienne, the commissioner of the match, called out of the game. FIFA replaced him with Patrick B., a security expert and former soldier. Source
