Roma are reportedly studying the possibility of replacing Edin Dzeko with Paris Saint-Germain forward Mauro Icardi.

Il Corriere dello Sport claims Dzeko, who has one year left of his deal and a salary of €7.5m a season, seems set for a move away this summer.

The Bosnian fell out with coach Paulo Fonseca this season and was stripped of the captaincy at the Olimpico.

Dzeko seemed set for a move to Juventus last summer, but the move included a possible transfer for Arkadiusz Milik from Napoli and eventually failed to materialise.
The newspaper claims Roma are studying a possible deal with PSG over a return to Serie A for former Inter striker Mauro Icardi, as the French giants may be willing to sell for budgetary reasons. Continue reading
