Real Madrid are interested in a sensational return for Cristiano Ronaldo but will prioritise moves for Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland, according to reports in Spain.

Reports began circulating last week that the Portuguese star could be set for a sensational Bernabeu return following Juventus’s disappointing showing in the Champions League.

Those stories were addressed by Andrea Pirlo, with the Bianconeri boss dismissing the ‘rumours’ surrounding a possible switch. 

However, reports of Real interest continue to gather pace in Spain, with two of the country’s leading sports papers focusing on the story on Monday morning.

Marca led on the transfer plans for Zinedine Zidane’s squad, insisting that a deal for the 36-year-old would not trump their main focus of trying to lure Kylian Mbappe or Erling Haaland to the Spanish capital. Continue reading
