New York City has allocated at least $10 million to educate the city’s more than 5 million registered voters on the new ranked-choice voting system, launched this year for city elections. Groups like the nonprofit Haitian American Caucus (HAC), based in Flatbush, Brooklyn, have set out to make sure the Haitian community is not left out of voter education efforts.
