Neymar explains why Premier League transfer doesn’t appeal ahead of penning new PSG deal

Neymar says the physicality of the Premier League puts him off any potential transfer to the UK.

Recent reports state the Brazilian is set to commit his future to Paris Saint-Germain by signing a new four-year deal.

At 29, it would mean any return to Spain with Barcelona and Real Madrid would be incredibly unlikely.

Realistically, only Chelsea or Manchester City and possibly Manchester United could afford the Brazil star, from the Premier League. But it seems Neymar wouldn’t be too keen on facing the league’s rougher teams.

Having complained of tough tackles in Ligue 1 before, the prospect of entering an even more aggressive league isn’t one that appeals to Neymar.
