In the four years since President Jovenel Moïse took office, he has made statements on numerous occasions that sent heads swiveling. Through his gaffes, quips and inaccuracies, Moïse has inadvertently incriminated himself in the murder of Monferrier Dorval, shown anger that threatens opponents and institutions, and made various promises he later said were too hard to keep.
