Kylian Mbappe’s potential ‘limited’ by Ligue 1 as reports in France tip PSG star for move away

Reports in France have tipped Kylian Mbappe to use his contract situation to leverage a summer move away from PSG, claiming that Ligue 1 is ‘limiting his potential.’

Liverpool and Real Madrid have been frequently linked with a move for the 22-year-old, who may be available in June unless he extends his contract beyond 2022.

His recent form has dipped below the levels expected, which seems strange to say considering he has netted 16 goals in 23 appearances this season, but his opener against Montpellier at the weekend was his first of 2021.

Kylian Mabppe is yet to decide his future, leaving the door open to sign a new PSG contract or join a new club. Real Madrid have a plan to try and sign him.
