The Belgian midfielder has blossomed into one of the best players in the world in his position during his time at the Etihad but his future now appears uncertain.

Kevin De Bruyne will reportedly reject Manchester City’s first offer of a contract extension and is said to be far from impressed with the club’s efforts to get him to sign on.

De Bruyne, 29, has become one of the best players in the world in recent years, and is undoubtedly one of City’s most important stars.

His current deal runs until the summer of 2023, and City are believed to be keen to tie him down on a new five-year contract.

But according to The Times De Bruyne is disappointed by what he has been offered so far, and is set to turn down the club’s first proposal. Continue reading
