Pirlo made little secret of his excitement at the prospect of what Giroud could bring to Juve, admitting to DAZN, via Football Italia, after his side’s 4-1 win over Udinese: ‘He’d be handy!’ 

Giroud has been consistently linked with a move away from west London this month having found game time hard to come by under Frank Lampard this season.
