Mohamed Salah is “unhappy” at Liverpool and the Reds are “considering selling” him.
That’s according to the Liverpool striker’s former international team-mate Mohamed Aboutrika, who believes the Egyptian is angry he wasn’t made captain against FC Midtjylland.
Salah recently opened the door to Real Madrid and Barcelona in an interview with Spanish publication AS, saying his future is in Liverpool’s hands.
Jurgen Klopp played down the striker’s comments, insisting everything is “fine” where Salah and Liverpool are concerned.
But Aboutrika, who knows Salah well, isn’t convinced. “I called Salah about his situation at Liverpool and he is upset, but that would never affect his performance on the field,” Aboutrika told beIN Sports.
