Juventus is enjoying potent play out at the center-forward position so far this season. Alvaro Morata, who is on loan from Atletico Madrid, has gradually rejuvenated his play and is once again becoming a stout goal-scoring threat. Still, Juventus does not give up its interest in current Paris Saint-Germain forward Mauro Icardi, who the club views as a first-choice option, according to a report from the Italian-based outlet CalcioMercato.

Icardi has long been on the radar of Juventus, which the report hits on. But even after being months removed from signing a permanent transfer deal with PSG, Juventus still has an eye on possibly bringing in the talent down the road. Thus, while the club has not been heavily rumored to make an attempt to sign away Icardi from PSG, Juventus is still monitoring his situation there.

The report also mentions that Icardi also views Juventus as a first choice transfer option as well. More so, his wife and representative, Wanda Nara, is on good terms with Juventus’ Chief Football Officier in Fabio Paratici. Continue reading
