In what should be an exciting clash against Spain on Tuesday, Germany has provided yet another storyline to look for in the group’s decisive last match.
Bayern Munich shot stopper Manuel Neuer, is set to make history on Tuesday night when Germany faces off against Spain in the UEFA Nations League. Should he start once again, Neuer will become the all-time most capped goalkeeper for Germany with his 96th appearance for Die Mannschaft.
Neuer made himself level with the current record of 95 appearances after a 3-1 win over Ukraine on Saturday. He currently shares the record with Bayern Munich legend, Sepp Maier, who previously held the record since 1979. Continue reading
