Delphine Gardere Holdings (DGH) announced the complete acquisition of the capital stock of Société du Rhum Barbancourt, D. Gardère et Cie, in a statement published on Friday. The announcement caps a winding saga of ownership disputes in the Gardere family.
“Today, I now control 100% of the shares of Société du Rhum Barbancourt through a leveraged buyout,” Delphine Gardère told Le Nouvelliste.
She also said in the statement that Barbancourt remains a Haitian family business rooted in the history and economy of the country. Source
