Ninety percent of ninth graders who took the national exams passed, according to the Ministry of National Education and Vocational Training. That’s 179,819 of the 197,845 students tested.

The number is remarkable given that state teachers stopped reporting to class in August in a boycott to demand better pay.

The Northwestern region’s students had the highest rate of success, as 97.62 percent of their students passed. The Artibonite Department had the lowest passing rate, at 85.07 percent. Source

  1. Good afternoon, it would help if you put dates on your articles. How is one supposed to know when the event occurred.
