Former President Michel Martelly was selected as a sponsor of the Alexandre Pétion High School 2020 class during the students’ graduation ceremony on Saturday.

About 350 students graduated. As a sponsor, Martelly will help finance some of the projects the student had in mind, one of which is to install fans in all of the classrooms. He will also give them advice.

“I am delighted to have been chosen to be the sponsor of the ′′PHARUS′′ promotion of Alexandre Pétion High School, a reference school, distinguished by leadership and values instilled in its students throughout their academic curriculum,” Martelly wrote on his Facebook account

Martelly, who first gained fame as pop star “Sweet Micky,” said he’s proud of the students and wished them success. Source
