Radio host Carel Pedre, singer Rutshelle Guillaume and Radio Caraïbes have all suspended their activities to demand justice for Evelyne Sincère, the high schooler found dead in a garbage dump after being kidnapped.

“This wrongful act is one our society should never forget and we should all raise our voices to say we’re tired,” Guillaume wrote in a statement on Tuesday.

Pedre announced that he canceled Carel in the Morning, a radio show, this week on his Facebook account on Tuesday.

“I stopped working,” he wrote. “I’m asking justice for Evelyne and for everyone else who left us because of the insecurity in the country.”
