Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli left frustrated by Jose Mourinho’s radio silence over Spurs exile

Dele is in the dark over his demotion to bit-part player under manager .

It is understood Alli and Mourinho are still to discuss the reasons behind the Spurs boss’ decision to sideline his midfielder since the start of the season.

Likewise, questions over why he was not allowed to leave on loan during the summer are still unanswered.

Portuguese boss’ opening months in charge, Alli has fallen rapidly down the pecking order.

The 24 year-old has played just 66 minutes of Premier League football so far this season, starting in just one of Tottenham’s seven top-flight fixtures against Everton in which he was substituted at half-time.

Mourinho has been using the Europa League to provide Alli with some first-team minutes. But even during last week’s loss against Royal Antwerp, the Spurs star was replaced at half-time.

Having blocked any move away during the previous window, it seems logical for Spurs to sanction a loan move for Alli during the forthcoming winter window. Continue reading
