Jacques Romain High School students plan a protest march Thursday to demand justice for their schoolmate Evelyne Sincère, who was kidnapped and murdered.
The march will start at Fontamara 43 in Carrefour at 6:00 a.m. They will walk toward the Ministry of Justice. They invite all residents to join.
Sincère was kidnapped Oct. 29. The kidnappers asked for a $100,000 ransom, and refused the $15,000 that Sincère’s older sister could raise. The bandits severely beat and sexually assaulted Sincère, then left her body at a garbage dump site, where she was found on Sunday. Source
