Forty-two new marine police officers received their diplomas in a Port-au-Prince ceremony on Friday.

They are the 13th class to graduate from the Haitian Coast Guard as police officers. The officers trained for 10 months at the Admiral Killick Naval Base in Bizoton, a town in Carrefour.

During the ceremony, the new officers were sworn to fulfill their duty to fight against illegal trafficking of all kinds on Haitian waters and beaches. Source
