Wolf Hall, president of Titi Loto & T-Sound lottery organization, was released on Sunday after being kidnapped by a gang leader. Ti Lapli, a G9 Family and Allies leader, had claimed responsibility for Hall’s kidnapping last week. Carrefour residents took to the streets last Saturday to demand Hall’s release.

In a separate incident, kidnappers also released Johnny Descollines, a former international soccer player, on Friday after taking him hostage for three days.

It is not known whether ransoms were paid for either man’s release.

On the flip side, police officer Pierrot Evens was kidnapped on Sunday. His kidnappers asked $300,000 for his freedom. Source
