“Ti Lapli,” a G9 Family and Allies leader, said on a radio broadcast that he has kidnapped Wolf Hall, the young president of Titi Loto & T-Sound lottery organization on Tuesday night in Port-au-Prince.

Ti Lapli, whose real name was not revealed, announced the kidnapping on “Radio Bat Bravo Pou La Jenes” (Radio Clap for the Youth) earlier this week. It was unclear how much ransom he was asking for the release of Hall.

Ti Lapli heads the G9 territory around Grand Ravine in the Croix-des-Bouquets commune. He said he had to go back to kidnapping because the main G9 leader, Jimmy ‘Barbecue’ Cherizier, doesn’t provide for him financially.

“Everyone has to fight to survive in this country,” Ti Lapli said. Source
