A road safety organization is calling for more agents after counting 26 vehicle accidents that caused eight deaths and injured 56 people in just one week in Haiti.
STOP Accidents, the road safety group, conducted its study across Haiti between Oct. 12 and Oct. 18. Some of the worst affected areas were Carrefour, Nazon in Port-au-Prince, and Ennery in the Artibonite Department.Â
The group reiterated the need for road safety agents and an increase of vehicle inspection services. Source
